Couples and Individual Therapy in Mississauga, Ontario

Muslim Female Therapist providing couples therapy and individual therapy in Toronto.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals and couples navigating the challenging parts of relationships, identity, anxiety, and life transitions. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in respect for you as a whole person.

The people who often connect with me are:

Couples navigating communication challenges, cultural differences, family pressures, or working to reconnect and rebuild intimacy.

BIPOC young adults balancing culture, career, academic pressures, identity, and mental health while figuring out who they are in a complex world.

My Background & Experience

I come from a multiethnic background, grew up in Africa, lived in the UK, and have resided in Canada for the past 15 years. I have also worked in international humanitarian contexts supporting diverse communities. These experiences have broadened my perspectives and shaped the way I connect with people, making me flexible, open, and easy to relate to.

Alongside my private practice, I’ve worked at the University of Toronto, as well as in outpatient and community mental health settings. I’ve supported clients from many walks of life, with a focus on young adults, immigrants, and couples. With a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, I bring specialized knowledge in relationships and systems, along with additional training in evidence-based modalities.
