Trauma-Informed & Culturally-Attuned Therapy in Mississauga
Struggling with Anxiety, Trauma, or Relationship challenges?
You’re not alone. It can be hard to find support that truly understands your experience as a Muslim or BIPOC person. Anxiety and past hurts weigh heavy, and conflicts in relationships can feel overwhelming.
I’m here to provide a safe, welcoming space where your story matters and healing is possible.
Therapy for You & Your Relationships
I specialize in supporting BIPOC, Muslim, refugee, and young adult clients, navigating anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges, paying special attention to how the systems around us, including culture, faith and family impact our experiences and relationships.
My work is informed by both professional training and lived experience, including navigating my multiracial and intercultural identity, migration, and family life, which allows me to understand and support clients in culturally nuanced ways.
My Experience in Mental Health:
Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy – University of Winnipeg
Licensed by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
6+ years of experience across universities, community programs, and outpatient clinics.
Me in Everyday Life:
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me:
On a pickleball or soccer court
Enjoying a coffee on a walk near the water
Soaking in the quiet beauty of sunrise (yes — I’m definitely a sunrise-over-sunset person ☀️)
